Can we just be honest for a second? Looking good naked feels really good. I love looking in the mirror and liking what I see. Some may say that is egotistical, and I agree, it is egotistical of me. However, I don't see anything wrong with this. You do not want to destroy the ego, you want to understand it. My ego is the reason why my career started. My ego is why I am motivated and driven to succeed. It is the reason why I wake up early and meditate every morning. I can't stress this enough, you must understand the ego, you can't let it get too big or too small. You must be able to find that happy medium.
To me, looking good is the easiest way to feel a sense of accomplishment, it's the first thing you have control of. Don't listen to the people that are saying body image doesn't matter, because it does. I am not saying you have to be as athletic as Lebron James or as lean as a bodybuilder, but you should be able run three miles without stopping. Never forget, we are animals, and we are meant to move. If anyone tries to bring you down or make fun of you for your ways, tell them to go kick rocks. They are jealous because they don't have the courage to make a change. They don't have the strength to change their life because its too uncomfortable, however, you do. You are the one who steps into the ring. You are the only one in the ring, everyone else is just an observer. Remember, your life is your movie, it is your show; everyone else is just watching. And just like in a movie, the audience doesn't get to determine how it ends, but you do.

Based off Socrates advice, it is imperative that we have a growth mindset. We should aim for progress in our physical and mental self. Not only do we want our body to be strong, but our mind should be even stronger.
I have provided a three month workout plan for you. It is a progression based plan. In the first two months we will build you a foundation. Think of it like this, remember the three little piggies and the big bad wolf? Which house lasted the longest?.......Exactly! We are going to give you a foundation that doesn't break. As your mental state improves, your stress levels will reduce, and you will get even stronger. Once this foundation is built, you will go to month three. In this month, we get to have fun and see how strong you really are; mentally and physically.

As a Rokiskyfitness reader, you are someone who is ready to take on any challenge, someone who is ready to step outside their comfort zone and get uncomfortable. You are ready to go to war against yourself, it is you versus you in the arena. Everyone else is in the audience watching. Remember, your life is a movie and they are just movie critics. Nevertheless, do not discount their comments, rather, seek to understand why they would make that comment. Do not let their comments sicken you, instead treat it like a vaccine. Give yourself small doses and let your body adapt, take one step at a time and you will be surprised by how far you go. Take this approach to every uncomfortable situation, start small and dose frequently. We are humans, we are the most adaptable species on this earth, we are capable of greatness. You are capable of greatness. But, there are no shortcuts, you must be willing to put in the work. Remember, we are trying to understand our ego and use our ego to our benefit. Do not let your ego consume you and lead you to believe that you are the second coming of christ. You are no one and you are nothing, but there is nothing wrong with using your ego to motivate you during a workout. You have to ask yourself a question, "are you the type of person that hikes up the mountain or do you get a ride?"
