I am going to travel the world and live a life of adventure. I am not worried about the future, I have not forgotten about the past, but I do not let it make the decisions for me. I will embrace the obstacles that fall before me and focus on the person in front of me. There are millions of experienced to be had, and millions of lessons to be learned. I am a student and a teacher until I die. If college has taught me one thing, it has shown me how fragile and afraid the human being is. We conjure up fears and insecurities that don't exist. We wish for change, but we are too afraid to take the first step. It's time you look in the mirror and find out who you really are. The truth resides in all of us, you just have to be willing to ask the right question. And sometimes that question is hard to face. But, no one said life was going to be easy. It will be filled with terror, and at times you will wish it to end. Nevertheless, you must stay strong and stay the path, you must continually ask the question over and over again until you have your answer.
" Who am I and why am I on this earth? "
The person who can answer this will die a happy (wo)man. The person who neglects to answer will lay on their death bed and beg for another chance. They will beg to live again, they will wish they did more. They will wish they loved more; that they traveled more and lived a life full of risks. Then again, what do I know, I am just a 23 year old kid. I am just like you and nothing more.
